Weird
After school adjusting is weird.
I find that I don't really know what to do with myself.
And that I am a little overwhelmed with the things I placed on "hold" and now have to start doing again and thinking about.
I am kind of regretting placing somethings on "hold".
Darn it. I should have organized my time a little better while in school.
I could have done it all, right?
Anyway, this is a weird place for me to be in.
I feel a little out of sync with my life.
Not quite in the groove
Are you picking up what I am putting down?
(That phrase always makes me giggle.)
Let's hope this doesn't last too long.

Just Call Me Master
Tonight is my very last MBA class. I thought I would feel different than I do.
The best word to describe how I am feeling is: Bittersweet.
Don't worry, I will soon get over the "bitter" part so I can enjoy the SWEET!

Ummm...Really? Is That Fashionable?
Disclaimer: I am not the trendiest person alive.
Okay, sitting in the cafeteria at school chatting it up with my fellow classmates, generally having a great time.
In walks a woman, a fellow classmate, at first I thought she was wearing knee high boots.
SHE WASN'T.
Picture this:
White long sleeve button up blouse. (Nice, very professional)
Fitted navy knee length skirt. (Again, nice.)
Maroon knee high socks. Socks not nylons or knee high nylons. (uhhhhhh....)
Black ankle boots or "booties". (eh?)
What in the HECK is going on??
Is this high fashion or just plain crazy? My vote is the later. Crazy woman. I wish I could have taken her picture.

My Goal This Semester
I have a goal to get all A's this semester. Cross your fingers that I do it! For every A I am going to reward myself. Not sure what the reward will be, but you better believe it will be awesome!

A Girl Can Dream...Can't She?
As I paid my tuition this semester, or rather saw my student loan double so I could pay my tuition this semester, I starting thinking about what I could to not have to take out loans to pay for school.
I am really stressed out about getting into more debt. REALLY STRESSED OUT.
Option 1:
Have some mysterious person offer to pay for my tuition, not strings attached (including my current student loan).
possibility: HIGHLY unlikely
Option 2:
Find a new job that pays more towards tuition than my current job. Down side: I like my job.
possibility: unlikely, since most companies have a waiting period before they pay tuition (say 6 months) plus add the time it takes to find a new job (say 6 months) and then I only have one more semester left.
Option 3: (BEST IDEA YET)
Marry a person who works for the my school then my tuition instantly gets cut in half! I would take a 50% reduction in a heartbeat. But who could I marry? I would even just marry them in name only (total SHAM wedding) and then we could divorce in October 2011. Great plan huh! I think so.
possibility: never gonna happen. I know this is unethical and maybe morally wrong. But what if I just happened to meet someone this semester (who worked for my schoo), fell in love, and got married BEFORE the next semester started. AWESOME!
Hey, a girl can dream can't she?

Thoughts of School
School, school, schmool.
I started my MBA program and already have one class done. YAY! Okay, so it's not really done, we will have several more assignments due throughout the semester. But still...I don't have to go to that class anymore.
Here are some things I have realized since I started my program.
1. I need to exercise a lot more if I am going to have enough energy to do school and work fulltime.
2. I love being back in school. LOVE IT.
3. I may not be as smart as I think I am.
4. I can study AND I can don't really mind reading textbooks. (This is HUGE because for my bachelors I didn't really study a lot and I think I only read 1 text book completely...the rest I may have read a chapter or so.)
5. Graduate level classes are completely different than my undergraduate classes...they are more about applying the concepts to work we actually do right now. I LOVE IT.
6. I may have forgotten how to juggle all the things I have to do each day...this could get really bad.
7. I am, surprisingly, okay with with the sacrifices I have to make right now to get through school.
8. I don't know if everyone affected by my sacrifices is okay with them.
9. I hate campus parking. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.
10. I am one of those people who wants to share what they learned in class with other people. Which kind of makes me a little boring...I will try harder to only share interesting stuff.
11. I need to remember to not neglect my blog...I have millions of things stuffed in my head that I want to share.
All in all, even though school is kind of kicking my trash right now...I love it.

New Adventure
I will officially be a University of Utah UTE on Saturday. I am excited and nervous and scared and happy. So many emotions and so many questions. The biggest question: Who in their right mind thought having the first day of school on a Saturday was a good idea? 8 HOURS of school? Hmmmm.
**Important notice** In 2 years when I have completed my MBA you MAY be required to call me "Master D'Nell" Or "Master Delia". Just thought I would give you a heads up. You can start now if you really want.
