Not Fair

I just got home from a mini-vacation to visit Big Dave the Korean in Phoenix. Day 2 I woke up sick...and I mean sick. I have a cold and it wiped me out...in fact just flying home today has zapped all my energy and I felt like a zombie walking in the airport. One more thing, I am NOT patient with strangers when I am sick. I was so annoyed at all the rude people at the airport today. Especially the people who park their cars in the pick up lane waiting to pick someone up. Then their passenger doesn't come out for 20 minutes so people like me who do it correctly (grab my luggage from baggage claim then call my mom, who waits in the park and wait, so she can drive down and meet me at the curb and clog the systerm) have to stand in the street so their ride can pick them up and then fight the congestion from the stupid waiting CARS! AAAHHH! I hate those cars and almost said something...but didn't. And now I am rambling another symptom of me being sick. I have some cute pictures and fun stories from the trip, I will post them later in the week when I feel better. AchoooooOOOOOO!

Valentines Fondue

Recipe:

Result: Best Valentines EVER.

Butterscotch Fondue: (new favorite fondue to make)
1 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Half & Half
1/2 cup butter

In sauce pan mix ingredients together until sugar and butter are melted over medium low heat (about 5 minutes), stirring continuously. Turn heat up to medium and let boil for 7 minutes. DO NOT STIR. Put in fondue pot and dip to your hearts content.

D Day

**Wow! I am losing my mind. I thought after a long day of arduous study I would double check the details for the GMAT...that is scheduled for Tuesday Feb 12th...not Thursday Feb 7th like I thought. Wow...I feel dumb. Brightside...I have more days to study! WOW! I am going to get laughed at tomorrow at work...*** Edit to the post below...

I am taking the GMAT tomorrow. I am really really....REALLY nervous. I have been studying all day. Yes, I took the day off to study. Dean (the former math teacher) will be impressed with my math retention skills in all areas except geometry. He won't need to kick my butt on this one.

**side note...if you grew up in the DEAN regime then you have had math lectures, upon math lectures, upon math lectures. I even heard today that my sister is using the infamous "BIG 1" lecture on her children...will the terror ever end???***

So, a request, everyone pray that I do well and that my brain can remember all the formulas, grammar rules, and that I can form a coherent essay!

**another side note...my mind has been reciting math terms on it's own before I go to sleep. FOIL and Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally are the two most popular.***
