For the last 6 months I have been working on getting my emergency preparedness stuff together. Food storage, savings, etc. When I heard that my stake would be offering a C.E.R.T. class...and you get a free helmet, I signed up! I have only gone to 2 of he 8 classes and so far it has been AWESOME! Tonight we got our C.E.R.T. bags (see picture above) and we got to put out a fire with a fire extinguisher. I am totally prepared....for small fires.*If I smiled the goggles cut into my cheeks.

A free helmet...I would totally be all over that too!!! Ty has gotten very excited over his 72 hour kit and being prepared (I think it was the two weeks of earthquakes) and I only wish that it is as fun as your class!
I will totally call you when I have a small fire to put out. ...except that by the time you get here it will probably be a large fire. You'd better learn how to put those out too.
