What awaits me when I check my email? An email from my niece Erin, subject "Liberty Loves Santa." I didn't read the email before I looked at the pictures. This picture made me laugh out loud and suddenly everything is better. Life is good. Humor, Laughter, and loved ones make me happy, grateful, joyful, and feel like a million bucks!

That was Ella's reaction to Santa. I couldn't even put her in his lap....
That picture could've been me! One of my favorite pictures is me sitting on Santa's lap with the big tears running down my face. My mom said I was terrified and screaming . The funny part is that "Santa" was my dad dressed up at a ward party!
Kids don't like men with beards. We were at a baseball game in Denver and we wanted Mr. V to sit in the end seat of our tickets because he is a little body and there was a (bearded) man next to him. He would NOT sit next to that man. He had no problem sitting next to another (nonbearded)person at the other side.
We have never gotten pictures of our kids on Santa's lap. We had to force them to at least take the candy cane!
I love this picture. It is classic Liberty- she is so dramatic.
Their are two realities in Life about kids under 4 years old.
1- In theirs eyes Santa is just a Big Fat Scary Stranger Dude,
2- Mickey ouse is just a Giant Rat with big ears.
