The Nature of My BLOG
So I have a friend...let's call him...J*SH. He has this thing with privacy. It is a little crazy. I don't think he quite gets, that we view this concept of PRIVACY differently. This has prompted me to explain the following:
1. Everything I post on my blog I have chosen to share with those people who know about my blog and those who just happen upon it.
2. I realize some things I post require more information for some people. Some things aren't fully explained on my blog because they are too personal and some are inside jokes.
3. With things that aren't fully explained on my blog, I fully expect some people to ask for more information...which I usually give...and I am not upset about it...because I expected it.
4. Comments are welcome, so are questions.
5. Some previous posts and potentially some future posts have been moved to a new "secret blog" to protect the guilty...if you want to read that blog...you will have to pass a test. NO CHEAT SHEETS ALLOWED.
I have realized that I want to tell some people certain things, or share some thoughts I have with them. I think it will help them understand me better. I am not very good at verbally expressing how I feel, especially to those I care a great deal about. This format has been very helpful to me. It has been an emotional release. It has kept me sane. And it has served, and is still serving its purpose. So there.

My mom had some of the same views of privacy about my blog when I started. Her comment was, "You're sure putting yourself out there." You bet I am! That's the point. I agree, writing in my blog has been my little therapy. I thoroughly enjoy blogging, having people read my blog, comment on my blog, and reading others. Thanks for sharing too! Or more rightly, thanks for getting me going on this whole blogging thing.
Your friend J*sh sounds like a total A-hole who doesn't understand you at all. I say dump his as a friend... obviously he makes no effort to undertand you. ~jl
Of course I can't dump J*sh we haven't gone to all you can eat sushi yet!
