Begin each day as if it were on purpose. (from the movie Hitch)
Remember Lot's wife (Luke 17:32)
You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful. - Marie Curie
Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. - Marie Curie
"Perhaps all of us sometimes would like to withdraw and isolate ourselves from the storms of life and from the fiery darts of Satan. However, we must be in the world but not of the world, meaning to go forward in the midst of the sin, evil, and corruption that are in the world but resist and reject them. Being in the world can be frightening because we live at a time when Satan is becoming more and more bold. The Lord said, “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” (John 17:15.) - Joseph B. Wirthlin

I love it! I have two opposing thought here. One, is that I need to set goals, write them down to make them real and then work on achieving them. Two, sometimes I like to take off on a dirt road not knowing where it will lead just to see where I end up. That is my definition of an adventure. hmmm...good thoughts. Let me know what you come up with.
I really like that thought! thanks for sharing it.
When I was little and riding in the car with my dad, sometimes I couldn't tell where we were driving to, so I'd just keep asking him and asking him "dad, where are we going?" and he'd keep saying "we're going crazy!" DF was always the most patient man!
