Human Nature? I like to think so...but you tell me.This all started many, many, many moons ago in a land I will call Crossing Woods with a person...I shall call him...Jose Smith. He did not have any...let's say...finger nails. When you would ask what happened...Jose would refuse, but not just refuse...adamantly refuse. And so the curiosity started...
Now, this isn't something I have thought of everyday...or even every year...but when I hear Jose's name...the no finger nails quickly comes to mind.
Fast Forward to Yesterday...My co-worker...let's call him Clark, is talking to someone in the elevator we are both in...and whose name should come up? None other than Jose Smith. Can there be two Jose Smith's? Very Likely.
The questioning begins.
Me "How do you know Jose Smith?"
Clark "He is my brother-in-law"
Me "How old is he?"
Clark "24"
Me "Did he attend school in the Crossing Woods?"
Clark "I think so...why?"
Me "Does he have FINGER NAILS????" (excitement starting to build)
Clark "I haven't ever noticed."
Me "Will you call your sister right now and find out, and if he doesn't please find out why"
Clark "What will you give me?"
Me "I will buy you a foot long sandwich at Blimpie."
Needless to say, Clark called, it is the same Jose Smith...and the mystery is solved.
Human Nature?
Does it really matter that Jose had no finger nails and he didn't want to say why? Nope.
Did it really matter if I found out the reason? Not at all.
So why did I have a desire to know...so much that I paid $6.00 for a sandwich?
Curiosity...pure and simple.
Curiosity to find out such a well guarded secret.
How do I feel now that I know? That is a question for another day...
Human Nature? You tell me.

you're very clever and I'm dying to know the answer!
by the way, I love the TOTALLY unrelated picture!
I have no idea what this is even talking about??? Am I the only clueless one?
I will say this...curiosity can be a very dangerous thing.
Trent, this post has multiple meanings...it is for you to figure out.
AHHH! I'm laughing so hard it hurts. It HURTS! I read the first 3 lines and starting laughing. Zack had to know why...and now he wants to know the mystery as well. The end of June isn't soon enough! We must meet sooner!
After reading this, I feel like someone just told me that they have a suprise for me in the kitchen but I am not allowed to know what it is until later. The suspense is killing me! But I guess this is where the phrase, "Curiousity killed the cat" came from!
