If you have been asking yourself how the training is going...well your questions will be answered. I am happy to say that the first two weeks have gone well. I do aerobic exercise for 45 minutes, 5 times a week and strength training 3 times a week. I usually do abs every time I work out. Strength training is kind of scary. At first the machines were intimidating...I mean really, am I supposed to guess how to use them correctly? Let alone how I even get into the machine to use it in the first place! Luckily, my roommate Kristen only really likes to strength train, so when I went to the gym with her that is all we would do. Thus, I am no longer afraid of using or trying new weight machines. I started out just using 4 machines, but now I am up to 8 different upper body exercises. Today there was a bonus, I added 3 leg machines. Yay for me, and also OUCH! Is it kinda of disturbing that I like to feel my muscles getting worked and that I am sore?

DNell you are such an inspiration to me. I am so proud of you, good luck wtih the training. Does this mean our Diet Coke with a lemon days are over? Let me know how it goes, I am desperate to get motivated like you. Go DNell Go! I'll do my amazing cheerleading skills to support you anytime you need it (you know, like the one I did in China that cost me my knee...aawwww...good times)
Thanks Jill, I really might need it. I have a long way to go to become the supermodel I want to be. However, you are hereby banned from "snazzing" up the cheering by doing the cheerleading move from China...unless I get to see it and it is video taped!
