I Believe...
I get the feeling that I will be spending a lot of time in my life serving in the the Primary. I love the Primary. Although, sometimes I wonder why I have this calling and then we have the Primary Program at church and I remember.
Simple truths taught in the Primary speak to my heart.
At the end of the primary program I had tears in my eyes. Children singing and speaking of the Savior is a powerful thing. Very tender...
Over the last couple of weeks I have had these words stuck in my mind playing over and over and over...
I know He Lives!
I will follow faithfully.
My heart I give to Him.
I know that my Savior love me.
(I Know My Savior Loves Me by Tami Jeppson Creamer & Derena Bell)
It is a beautiful song especially when sung by children. But the reason I love it is because it is POWERFUL in it's simple truths. These words have become a part of my testimony of my Savior. What joy, comfort, and peace they bring to me.

I was recently released from the Primary and I feel the same way. There were many times I had tears in my eyes because the Spirit was so strong. I was AMAZED at the knowledge and faith that those little individuals had. This week is our Primary Program (Ryan's first!) and I am so excited to see it!
The primary program got me crying right from the beginning as I watched them all up on the stand wiggling and excited to do their part.
Loved it so much...so much. I left the meeting feeling so edified and grateful for children and their examples.
After hearing last years primary program, I was so touched and loved the spirit I felt....I was called to the presidency within a month or so. I knew I was suppose to be there and it was great! (I too will probably be in the primary forever.)
We just had our primary program for this year and I loved seeing my cute CTR 5 and sunbeam sing about the savior. They sing the songs at home all day long, I love it!
I still remember (long ago when I taught the 5 year olds) when Sis. Peterson taught the kids to sing "Press Forward Saints". The spirit was so powerful when those little ones sang it. Now, whenever I sing it I can hear all those little voices singing, "Thus saith our God: "Ye have eternal life!"" and it still gives me goosebumps.
Thanks for sharing, D'Nellie!
I LOVE that song! We have it in our CD player in the minivan and we play it on our way to church every Sunday.
