I was at Albertson's the other day and walked out of the store behind a family of four. They were parked kind of close to me so I got to see them put their groceries in there car...and then they did something that just annoys me. They didn't put their shopping cart away, they just pushed it in front of their car and left it there. You want to know what was worse? Just right across thei aisle is the shopping cart return.Seriously people, your mom doesn't work at the grocery store. Put your shopping cart away! Grr....

Seriously. It says a lot about a person.
Another thing shopping carts can tell you about a person is what kind of driver they are. I had a roommate who kinda scared me when she drove. The first time we went shopping together, I realized she pushed the cart exactly the way she drove. Next time you're with someone you've driven in the car with previously, see if I'm not right!
um so what must really go?
Shopping carts or lazy people?
Because I'm not really sure what I would do without a shopping cart.
and yes I think it would be fun to analyze people's personalities with the way they handle/drive their shopping cart.
I have to admit that I have become a shopping cart leaver. First off, grocery shopping with 3 kids ages 4 and under should be considered an extreme sport. By the time I am done in the store and most importantly, all the kids are done....putting the shopping cart back is last on my list of "to-do's." I will gladly pay a little extra to have the bagger gather them and bring them in (please note, this is coming from a previous bagger who competed in Utah's best bagger contest :) ) So please find it in your heart to forgive these people. One day I will start returning the shopping cart, til then...FORGIVE ME! Are we still friends D'Nell?
Well maybe the grocery store should do like the airport does and charge a quarter to get a cart and if you return it you gfet the quarter back.
Then if people did not want to return the cart they would have to pay a little price. And if you do like I do, and get a cart from the parking lot to push inside you would get a little bonus. This would also create a little money making opertunity for an enterprising youth or homeless people, they could gather the carts and get a little money without the store having to pay them. This is why I am so dang smart, I always have fantastic ideas!!
Don't hate me...I am totally guilty of this. If the cart place is really close, I'll do it, but if not, I leave it. Sorry!
This is one of my BIGGEST Pet Peeves. Even with kids it is still plausible to return the cart to were it goes. I park right by one even if it is farther out and walk a little ways. No excuses people!
I also hate it when people don't put their cart away! I actually park close to the cart return on purpose so that it is easy to put it away!
I can't believe I haven't weighed in on this yet!
I also don't like it when people leave their carts in the parking lot. To me it's basically of sign of how selfish someone is. (How judgemental am I?) But then someone told me how hard it was for a mom with little kids to put it back: Does she leave her kids in the car and put it back? Or does she just leave the cart?
So, if you're a mom with tiny kids and there's no safe way for you to put it away, fine. Otherwise...grrrrrrrrrrr to you from me.
